1. CREATE A BOARD OF YOUR FAVORITE OUTFITS.
2. NOTE THE ITEMS FROM YOUR FAVORITE OUTFITS
After you've created your board of favorite outfits, go through each image and write down the pieces the person is wearing. You don't need to write down the same item twice, all you're doing is trying to find the most commonly liked items that you will wear on a regular basis. For example, I have a lot of lace skirts and shorts, denim tops, plaid tops and skinny joggers in my outfits.
3. CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE ITEMS
From the list you just created of items featured in your favorite outfits, choose your favorite items that fit your style that you will wear every day.
4. CHOOSE A COLOR PALETTE
Choose 3 Main Colors: These should be your favorite colors that you wear most often. Personally, my main colors would be grey, black and navy. They should work well as your most commonly worn pieces such as pants, coats, jackets, shoes, etc. They must also be versatile enough to be worn harmoniously with all accent colors & pieces.

Choose 2 Neutrals: These colors should work for the basic items in your wardrobe and match with every main color and accent color. I have chosen white and cream(nude) as my neutral colors. Examples of neutrals include white, greys, black, browns, and muted colors as well.

Choose 4 Accent Colors: These colors should work well as single items and accessories like tops, skirts, bags and belts. My accent colors are coral, mint, teal and maroon. You should be able to pair each accent color with all your neutral colors and at least two of your main colors. If not, you will need to rethink your color palette to achieve the most versatile wardrobe.
